Engineering and science communications have always been passions of mine. However, I’m always looking forward to broaden my horizon with new and challenging projects. A non-exhaustive (and quite random) list of projects and experiences in which I took part can be found below.

Exploitation of research: technology & knowledge transfer:
5 days training on research valorisation by KU Leuven Research & Development (LRD), including sessions on intellectual property law, industry collaboration and exploitation plans and with a hands-on project on validation of research results. [link] -
Member of MUN society Belgium:
After intensive coaching on leadership, public speaking, debating and teamwork I took part in the Oxford Model United Nation (OxiMUN) challenge. [link] -
Volunteer at Humasol:
I volunteered for Humasol, a non-profit that aims at bringing renewable energy to communities in developing countries, by means of projects for engineering students. I took part as project student (2013-2014) and later as a coach (2014-2016). [link] -
Extra courses on Economy and Management:
I took extra courses on top of my engineering studies (38 ECTS credits), on e.g. micro and macro economics, law, accountancy (2011-2013). -

Organizer and guide for domestic and international group travel [link] -
Involved several local non-profits:
◦ Organizer of Minileague Ultimate Frisbee tournament, a 2 day tournament for ±140 players
◦ Organizer of Flemish training day for Ultimate Frisbee coaches 2018
◦ Student representative in educational council
◦ Responsible for activities in student residence (±140 students)
◦ Certified leader and head leader for youth work by Flemish Government
